Eatonville is a town in Orange County, Florida, six miles north of Orlando. It is part of the Orlando-Kissimmee metropolitan statistical area. Incorporated on August 15, 1887, it was one of the first self-governing all-black municipalities in the United States.

The mission of the Eatonville Police Department is to provide a safe and secure environment for residents and visitors through community-oriented policing. Our department provides safety, security with service excellence, and professionalism. We strive to foster partnerships with other law enforcement agencies, governmental entities, and community organizations leading to collective solutions resulting in enhanced public safety, reduced fear, and improved quality of life. NATURE OF WORK :  Performs professional law enforcement work to maintain order to protect the public, maintain law and order in the community, detect and prevent crime, direct and control traffic, and investigate and apprehend suspects involved in criminal activity.
